Includes a black and white photograph of the McFarlane family. Haileybury, in the Timiskaming region of Northern Ontario, was a boom town from timber, farming, and the Cobalt silver strike, when Leslie McFarlane was growing up. An examination of his own early life by the author of so many of Hardy Boys books... among others.
